The Supervisory Board supervises the overall operations of the Bank. Among its duties are among others: the review of the reports of the Management Board on the operations of the company and the financial statement for the previous financial year in view of their compliance with the books of accounts and documents as well as factual status. The Supervisory Board also grants its opinions on motions of the Management Board concerning the distribution of profit or loss coverage and submits to the General Meeting of Shareholders an annual, written report on the results of its review of such motions. The Supervisory Board also submits to the General Meeting of Shareholders its opinion on the motions submitted by the Management Board in other matters.

All the members of the Supervisory Board meet the requirements following from the Law of 29 August 1997 – the Banking Law concerning limitations of the numbers of positions held by them in the Management Boards and Supervisory Boards of other companies.
